Major Joseph Bilitzke, CO of the 388th Bomb Squadron, in the center A-20, leads elements of the 388th Squadron across an alcohol production plant at Shinei, Formosa on 2 April, 1945. Maj. Bilitzke led nine A-20's from the 388th and nine from the 389th Squadrons over alcohol production facilities and railyards in the vicinity of Shinei causing significant damage to the Japanese war effort. On Maj. Bilitzke's left wing is 2nd Lt. Dale C. Fritzel in "SWEET LELANI", and on his right wing. 2nd Lt. Robert Dicker. Bilitzke's ship was nicknamed "BABY BLITZ II".
