Operation Combat Lancer (the first operational use of the F-11A), COL Ivan "Ike" Dethman, and his right-seater, Rick Mattheis are seen leaving the target area during a night mission near Vinh, North Vietnam, after hitting an ordinance dump located inside a heavily-defended cave bunker.
