This First Day Cover commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the First Flight of the Production Version of the Handley Page Heyford-21 June, 1933. The image by aviation artist John Young, depicts Handley Page Heyford of No. 99(B) Sqdn. RAF at the RAF Display, Hendon, 1936.

This envelope was flown from Jersey to Southampton Airport in BN2A MK 111 Trislander, G-JOEY by courtesy of Aurigny Air Services, Route:-Alderney - Ortac - Frawley - Southampton.
